Adding a Rectangular ROI on an Image
Introduction
Using ROI tools, you can draw a rectangular annotation on an image to highlight an area of interest on an image.
Steps
- Right-click the image to display the image context menu.
- Select Annotations > Rectangular ROI.
- On the image, click and hold the left-mouse button.
- Move the mouse diagonally to get a rectangular shape that you want.
Results
Synapse displays ROI measurements as defined in the Annotations panel in User Settings. See Customizing Measurements for Annotations
Additional Options
Click Rectangular ROI 
on the
icon menu.
