Adding a Polygonal ROI on an Image
Introduction
Using ROI tools, you can create a polygonal annotation to highlight a region of interest on an image.
Steps
- Right-click the image to display the image context menu.
- Select Annotations > Polygonal ROI.
- Click on multiple points of the image to create the vertices of the polygonal ROI.
- Close the ROI shape by joining the end point of the shape to the starting point.
Additional Options
Use one of the following options to create a Polygonal ROI:
- Click Polygonal ROI
on the icon
menu.

Results
Synapse displays ROI measurements as defined in the Annotations panel in User Settings. See Customizing Measurements for Annotations
