Adding a Circle to an Image
Introduction
You can create a circle annotation to highlight a region of interest on an image.
Steps
- Right-click the image to display the image context menu.
- Select Annotations> Circle.
- Click the image and hold the left-mouse button down.
- Drag the mouse to the outside edge of your circle and release the mouse button.
Additional Options
Use any of the following options to create a circle:
- Click Circle ROI
on the icon menu. - To activate a circle with a keyboard shortcut, press H.
- To review other keyboard shortcuts, Keyboard Shortcuts for Annotations.
Results
Synapse displays ROI measurements as defined in the Annotations panel in User Settings. See Customizing Measurements for Annotations
