Missing Series Overview

Introduction

A missing series occurs when a reading protocol expects a series that is not present in the study opened. A missing series could be the result of one of the following reasons:

  • The technologist did not send the series.
Example: The reading protocol expects an RMLO series but the study does not contain the RMLO series.
  • The technologist sent the series with a name other than the name expected by the reading protocol.
Example: The series name might have been manually entered by the technologist, or the series name might not be a standard name.
