Measuring the Density Value on an Image
Introduction
You can measure the density value of a pixel on an image. Synapse dynamically updates the density value as you move the density tool.
Synapse uses pixel point values when determining density and uses the nearest pixel point value when you are not directly on the pixel point.
Steps
- Right-click the image to display the image context menu.
- Select Density Value. The cursor changes to an eye dropper.
- Move the eye dropper to an area on the image and hold the left-mouse button to display a density value.
- Release the left-mouse button to exit the density tool operation.
Additional Options
Use any one of the following options to display the density value of a pixel on an image:
- Click Density
Value
on the icon menu. - Press and hold D + left-click to see the density value using a keyboard shortcut.
