Exporting Reading Protocols

Introduction

You can export user, system, or factory reading protocols.

Note:

You must have the privilege to export reading protocols.

If you export series based or procedure based reading protocols, the same series or procedure data must be in the destination data source in order to import these reading protocols.

Prerequisite

You must configure your browser to export reading protocols to the location you want. See Configuring Your Browser for Reading Protocol Export.

Steps

To access User Settings, do one of the following:

If you want to do this...	Complete these steps...
Open User Settings from the Viewer.	Right-click User Settings .
Open User Settings from the Worklist.	Click User Settings on the Worklist toolbar.
Open User Settings from PowerJacket.	Click User Settings on the PowerJacket toolbar.

Select the Reading Protocols tab.
Select all the reading protocols you want to export.

Note:

Use the CTRL or the SHIFT key for multiple selections.
If you export multiple reading protocols at once, Synapse saves the XML files in a zip file.

Right-click the selected files to display a context menu.
Select Export.
If you are exporting same series or same procedure reading protocols, Synapse displays a dialog box. Click OK.
Save the file to the required location.

Results

Synapse exports the reading protocols to the location defined in your browser settings.
