Configuring Your Browser for Reading Protocol Export

Introduction

Before you export your reading protocols, you can configure your browser, Internet Explorer, Edge in IE Mode, or Google Chrome, to set your preferred reading protocol download location.

If you do not configure download location, the exported reading protocol will be saved in the default download folder.

Configuring Internet Explorer for Reading Protocol Download Location

Steps

  1. On the Internet Explorer toolbar, click Internet Explorer Gear .
  2. Select View downloads.
  3. In the View Downloads - Internet Explorer dialog box, select Options.
  4. In the Download Options dialog box, select Browse.
  5. In the Select a default destination folder for your downloads dialog box, select the folder location that you want to export your reading protocols to.

Results

When you export your reading protocols, Synapse exports the reading protocols to this location.  

Configuring Google Chrome or Edge for Reading Protocol Download Location

Steps

  1. On the toolbar, click the customize/settings button (three dots).
  2. Select Settings.
  3. In the Settings dialog box, select Show advanced settings.
  4. In the Downloads section, select Change.
  5. In the Browse For Folders dialog box, select the folder location that you want to export your reading protocols to.
