Creating Custom Anonymous List Items

Introduction

You can select what information is to be hidden when you anonymize patient information and study information.

Items in the Selected list are hidden when you anonymize a study. Items in the Available list are not hidden when you anonymize a study. You cannot add the Patient Name to the Available list.

Steps

  1. To access User Settings, do one of the following:

Complete these steps...

Open User Settings from the Viewer.

Right-click User Settings .

Open User Settings from the Worklist.

Click  User Settings on the Worklist toolbar.

Open User Settings from PowerJacket.

Click  User Settings on the PowerJacket toolbar.

  1. Click Image Display and select Overlays.
  2. In the Anonymous Items panel, do one of the following:

    Complete these steps...

    Hide information when you anonymize a study.

    Move items to the Selected combo box list.

    Show information when you anonymize a study.

    Move items to the Available combo box list.

Tip:

Press and hold CTRL and click to select multiple items.

Results

When you anonymize a study, Synapse hides the items in the Selected list.

Synapse automatically saves any updated options and displays the following message in the bottom left corner of the window: Successfully saved.

Synapse displays the following message to alert you that an action must be taken for the settings to apply: Refresh the Synapse browser window for settings to apply.
