Configuring Image Settings

Introduction

Configure image settings for your preferred image quality. Display the context menu options when you right-click an image.

Steps

  1. To access User Settings, do one of the following:

Complete these steps...

Open User Settings from the Viewer.

Right-click User Settings .

Open User Settings from the Worklist.

Click  User Settings on the Worklist toolbar.

Open User Settings from PowerJacket.

Click  User Settings on the PowerJacket toolbar.

  1. Click Image Display.
  2. Do any of the following in the Image Display panel:

If you want to do this...

Choose this option...

Use an alternative algorithm that makes edges smoother and less pixelated when zooming images beyond their normal resolution.

Select Enable bicubic in the Image Display panel.

Launch PowerJacket each time you open a study.

Select Automatically open in the PowerJacket panel.

Results

Synapse automatically saves any updated options and displays the following message in the bottom left corner of the window: Successfully saved.

Synapse displays the following message to alert you that an action must be taken for the settings to apply: Refresh the Synapse browser window for settings to apply.
