Configuring Extra Series
Introduction
Extra series User Settings allow you to configure the following:
- When Synapse displays an extra series alert
- If Synapse displays extra series in blank viewports
You can configure extra series options for CR, CT, DX, IO, MG, MR, NM, PT, RF, US, XA, and other modalities.
If the study contains duplicate series, then Synapse treats all duplicate series (except the most recently acquired) as Extras. The Extras series is applicable when you open a study that contains more series than expected by the reading protocol used to display the study. Duplicate series are treated as Extra Series.
