Adding Text to an Image
Introduction
A text annotation displays a text note, a single line, or multiple lines on an image.
Annotations are copied between views that display the same image (same SOP instance UID).
Steps
- Right-click the image to display the image context menu.
- Select Annotations > Text. The cursor changes to a vertical arrow.
- Click on the image where you want to add your text.
- Add your text.
- Click outside the annotation when you are finished.
Results
Text is added to the image.
Additional Options
- To add text to an image with a keyboard shortcut, press SHIFT + T.
